Those of you that have had the privilege of reading through what many consider the bible for Trout Fishing in our South West will know that the author compiled a selection of flies that were successful “trout catchers” at the time of publication of the text. 40+ years later these patterns are still proven performers. A great deal of inspiration was derived from reading this text and a great deal of enjoyment was had replicating the patterns.
